A LITTLE TIME FOR THE CARDS · A WELCOME BREAK IN THE DAY

2 Suits

The second suit brings a new twist to your card break. A descending group travels together when all its cards share a suit.

Select a face-up card, then a destination column. Dragging also works.

Spades and hearts

You still need eight complete same-suit runs to finish the game. This mode uses 104 cards divided between spades and hearts. Each rank appears four times in each suit. The two-suit layout begins with ten columns and fifty cards in the stock.

Move by rank

The key details are straightforward. A mixed-suit build does not become a movable group merely because its ranks descend. A six of hearts can therefore sit on a seven of spades. A card may land on an exposed card exactly one rank higher, regardless of suit. Check both rank and suit before trying to move several cards together.

Keep the suit together

A suit change inside the selected cards stops the group from moving together. You may still move a smaller same-suit segment from the bottom of the column. A movable group is a face-up descending sequence containing only one suit. You can select the first card of that group to move every card below it.

Collect matching sequences

A red-and-black King-to-Ace column does not count as a completed run. A complete sequence must run from King to Ace in one suit. Both suits contribute to the total of eight runs needed to win. The game removes a qualifying sequence automatically and updates the run counter.

Separate mixed builds

Here is what to know. A temporary mixed-suit move can expose a hidden card or release an empty column. An empty column can hold one segment while you reconnect the remaining cards. Plan how you might separate that mixed build before extending it further. Matching suits often reduces the number of individual moves needed later.

Use a spare column

Keep these details in mind. Moving a King into a spare column can make space, but the King cannot later land on another rank. Any legal movable group can occupy an empty column. Fill every empty column before requesting another stock deal. You can sometimes return a shorter segment to its original column after exposing a useful card.

Add ten new cards

The key details are straightforward. The new cards can create matching suit connections or block existing ones. Five such deals are available at the beginning of the game. Each stock deal adds one face-up card to every column. Review exposed moves and empty-column plans before using the stock.

Learn with undo

On this website, the following points apply. Use Replay if you want to restart the same shuffled deal from the beginning. Undo also restores cards that were turned over or collected by the reversed action. The timer is not rewound when you undo. Undo can reverse a stock deal as well as a normal card move.

Practice the transition

On this website, the following points apply. A suggested move is a possibility to investigate rather than a guaranteed route to victory. Keeping several short matching runs can be easier to manage than one long mixed run. One-suit experience helps with rank order, but two suits adds a separate suit constraint for group movement. Revealing hidden cards gradually broadens your choices.

Resume this difficulty

Keep these details in mind. Two-suit progress is stored separately from one-suit and four-suit progress in this browser. Turning off local saving removes stored game progress and statistics on this domain. New game replaces the current two-suit deal with a fresh shuffle. The game can still run for the current visit when browser storage is unavailable.
